Sarongs
A Sarong is a long strip of cloth worn around the body especially
in Southeast Asia, some African nations and the pacific islands. Beach Sarongs
are available in various patterns like floral, striped, crocheted and animal patterns
but the most popular is the batik pattern. Batik is an Indonesian artwork of dyeing
done by hands and therefore, each sarong takes lot of time and hard work to get
its impressive finish and design. There is variety of fabrics used for making
beautiful and stylish beach sarongs. A variety of fabrics are used to make sarongs.
Among the natural fabrics Silk and Cotton are rather extensively used. Synthetic
fabrics such as georgette, rayon, nylon, and polyester are also used, because
of being quite affordable and looking trendy.
